The HANYC Sustainability Committee is made up of hospitality leaders who seek to guide and support fellow industry professionals in the development of their sustainability strategies.

The group is composed of professionals with a wide range of specialties that are committed to sharing best practices for development, management, operations, communications, education, and sales.

The Committee is dedicated to expanding the culture of sustainability through the Hotel Association of NYC’s membership. They will facilitate events and networking opportunities to help HANYC’s membership become thought leaders in the sector and set an example for hotels around the world.

What we do

  • Hospitality Education

    Sponsor scholarship and actively promote students aspiring to enter the Hospitality and Food Service industries.

  • Information Exchange

    Encourage hotels and professionals to communicate about the development of their sustainability trajectory.

  • Conferences and Seminars

    Share information to the industry through conferences, lectures, seminars, trade meetings, news bulletins, and administer awards for excellence.

  • Serve the Industry

    Serve the industry, students and the membership of HANYC.
